By way of California, and several years in Europe, Stuart moved as a teenager to New York City and developed a thriving decorative arts business, ultimately opening the Stuart Parr Gallery in Chelsea. At the age of 24, Parr’s design for his Tribeca loft was featured on the cover of New York Magazine’s Design Issue. His next loft donned the cover of Elle Décor and 20 other magazines throughout the world.
