Aside from our California natives, Rocky and Brian, the RPA team represents all regions of North American - from North Carolina to Albuquerque to Minnesota. Our diverse backgrounds, interests, and expertise coalesce in our El Segundo office to create a unique environment where ideas flow as freely as do sodas from our Thermador refrigerator.
When we are not designing sleek, modern interiors and buildings most of us like to spend time at the beach, riding our hi-tech bikes or experiencing L.A.'s many fabulous museums, architectural monuments, and restaurants.
Darrell S. “Rocky” Rockefeller has been practicing architecture for over 30 years, building a base of knowledge and expertise that spans the creative demands of the design process to the technical and managerial requirements of construction and business administration.
A registered architect in California since 1984, he is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and currently serves on the California Architects Board as a Commissioner.
Brian Pera received his Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. Following his education, Brian developed his keen graphic design abilities and breadth of technical knowledge working as a project designer on challenging commercial jobs, including an auxiliary power station.
Now Managing Partner with RPA, Brian exercises his unique ability to effectively communicate with clients and consultants on complex adaptive reuse projects, and is responsible for office operations.
