This multidisciplinary firm is committed to high-end design and methodical detailing and technology. Services provided range from architecture and engineering projects to additions and renovations, planning, and beyond. Projects are viewed as opportunities to provide clients with intelligent solutions while allowing them to express their unique style. Project type focus includes education, cultural, community, commercial and residential, in both the public and private areas.
We believe in a collaborative approach where the design team is in direct contact with the client, consultants, contractors and other required trade specialists. This helps us find the right answer to all design problems in an innovative and cost-effective way. We strongly believe that a limited and basic budget can achieve a smart architectural solution. The firm’s Principal is directly involved in every project that comes out of the studio to ensure that an unfailing quality of services is maintained. Fernando Brave is the recipient of several local, regional and national design awards.
Fernando L. Brave graduated from the University of Houston with a Master of Architecture in 1988. Before moving to Houston in 1987, he completed a six-year undergraduate architecture program at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he then briefly taught design studio and architectural history. He continues his professional development through various post-graduate level courses and seminars. His professional experience includes the completion of projects for individuals, private companies and public institutions. He has also been a key player in large master planning and development projects both in the United States and abroad.
Fernando, a registered architect and LEED® Accredited Professional, has lectured on Green Architecture and other topics and has written for a few publications. His work has been featured in Architectural Record, Texas Architect, The Houston Chronicle, The Dallas Morning News, the Houston Architectural Guide, American School & University Magazine and numerous other publications. He was also the recipient of many awards including several private competitions, Honor Awards from the Houston AIA and the Texas Society of Architects and an ASID/Houston Chronicle Award among many others. He was a member of teams that earned a National AIA Award for Religious Architecture and an AGC APEX Award.
